'Most suicides are in males between 15-24, that's my age,' School project to fight suicide in young Irish men

An innovative project entitled In His Shoes has launched at an all-boy's school in Drogheda, County Louth. The project is the idea of teacher and Transition Year Coordinator in St Mary's Diocesan School, Roisin Curtis, in partnership with SOSAD (Save Our Sons and Daughters), an Irish mental health charity. The biggest cause of death in Ireland for males aged 15 to 24 is suicide. Roisin can be contacted for more details on the project: rcurtis@stmarysds.ie Donations for the project can be made to: https://sosadireland.rallyup.com/inhisshoes/Campaign/Details If you are affected by any of these issues, please contact the following: You can contact SOSAD on: 041-984-8754 You can contact Samaritans on: 116 123
