VIDEO: Grandad who is afraid of heights braves a skydive for grandson's charity
A brave grandfather jumped 10'000 feet in honour of his sick grandson who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis.
Terence Dardis faced his fear of heights to raise money for young people in Ireland who are living with CF - to date he has managed to raise just under €4'500, all of which has gone to CF Ireland.
Terence's three year old grandson Alfie was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis shortly after he was born, and is the inspiration for his grandfather's daring 10'000 ft dive.
Alfie's family have set up a Facebook page named #Alfie'sArmy, where his friends and family undertake various activities in support of Alfie and the many other young CF sufferers in Ireland.
At 73 Terence is one of the oldest men in the country to undertake a sky-dive.
