'Irish people are the funniest' - watch Sharon Horgan and Derry Girls in new tourism campaign
Bad Sisters and Catastrophe star Sharon Horgan is fronting a new Tourism Ireland campaign timed to coincide with St Patrick’s Day.
Titled Fill Your Heart with Ireland, it kicks off with a video ad that will air to 7.7m people in Great Britain on a 9pm “mega spot" on March 17.
The video sees Horgan and Derry Girls stars Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Jamie-Lee O'Donnell travel around locations like Dublin, Wicklow and Derry, riffing and joking as they bump into characters along the way.
Launched today, the campaign will also roll out in key markets in Europe and the US as the 2023 tourist season kicks off.
