ARCHIVE VIDEO: Storm Emma leaves Wicklow home and vehicles buried in snow Newsdesk Newsdesk

Storm Emma has come and gone but weather conditions are still wreaking havoc across Ireland.

This video shows the Foster families home buried in snow along with their vehicles.

"I had to climb out of the window of my home to get out. We can't open the doors", Siobhan Foster told

"We have been shovelling the snow from 9am this morning."

Met Eireann’s Evelyn O’Rourke said temperatures over the coming downs will rise to around 7C. Ms O’Rourke said cloudy condition and relatively low temperatures will not result in a dramatic thaw.
