HSE boss asks TD for ‘level of respect’ during rows in Dail Committee
HSE boss Paul Reid asked Independent TD Verona Murphy for a “level of respect” after several rows in at a hearing of the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee.
The Wexford TD grew increasingly frustrated after she said that HSE officials were not answering her questions on children’s mental health services in her constituency.
She came to blows with HSE Chief Operating Officer (COO) Anne O’Connor after Deputy Murphy asked questions about anorexia services in Wexford.
