Former Debenhams workers do Jerusalema Challenge protest

Former Debenhams workers around the country did the Jerusalema Challange, to mark 310 days since workers lost their jobs when the high street chain went into liquidation in April.

Conor Gibson, one of the former staff from the Blanchardstown unit, told Independent.ie: "It's for awareness that we're still here because a lot of people think we've been sorted, but we're still on strike."

The staff have claimed the package offered to them when the company was liquidated last year was unfair.

Support for Debenhams Workers have said that the result of the dispute will have implications for all workers.
