WATCH: This must watch amazing Christmas themed Irish dance is steeped with festive cheer

Ronan O'Connell, Francis Fallon and Dara Kelly are dancers at the Hession School of Irish Dance based in Salthill in Galway. Ronan and Dara are TY students in Coláiste na Coiribe and Francis is currently in his in his first year in NUIG studying commerce.

The lads have global experience in Irish Dancing, having been to World Championships in America, Canada and across Europe.

'We enjoy choreographing to different genres of music along with Irish traditional music.'

The crew have gained experience choreographing through Ronan and Dara winning TG4's an Ríl Deal and Francis going viral on Facebook with his own choreography for Ed Sheeran.

'The Hession Christmas Show entitled the Celtic Nutcracker, was our dance schools take on the magical Christmas ballet, the Nutcracker.'

A teacher, Gemma Carney, came to the lads looking for an extra number for the show. Ronan had heard this piece of music over the festive period and thought it would be perfect for the show.' Ms Carney approved of it, and the rest is history.

'We spent long hours in the 'chalet', our studio during the week of the show putting this number together before it's premiere on Thursday the 21'.

The piece went down a storm at each of the three shows and is now taking over the internet.

The annual event was on in the Town hall Theatre in Galway at the end of December. The show to fundraises for local charities over Christmas and to fund school events for the coming year.
