WATCH: Incredible moment man pole vaults from electric skateboard controlled by his wife

Scott Simpson captured this jaw-dropping footage as Baptiste Boire performed one of his popular, entertaining stunts.

According to Simpson, the French man reached 6.17 metres- just one metre higher than the record for pole vaulting without a skateboard.

The record for the highest men's pole vault currently belongs to French athlete Renaud Lavillenie, who hit 6.16m on 15 February 2014.

"He is getting asked more and more to travel the world and do this at events as part of the entertainment element at those events," Simpson told Independent.ie.
