The 62-year-old owner of Slane Castle was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013 and had the lower lobe of his right lung removed before facing three and a half months of chemo and six weeks of radiation. Speaking to John Murray on The John Murray Show on RTE Radio 1, he said he found the treatment "pretty tough".
