Conor Ryan was approached to make a film for a campaign about respecting music, called Music Matters. They said they had enough American artists in the series already and he was free to do a UK or Irish act. Conor teamed up with hi brother Eoin and the got their selection down to Shane McGowan/The Pogues and Phil Lynott/Thin Lizzy. Ultimately the the pair went for Philo and what a job they did of the video. Conor is a character Animator by trade and says of phil - 'he's a great character to animate'. Eoin worked on developing the visual style while Conor worked on the script.
