Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee has written a tie-in novel about the escapades of lead character Erin.

Erin's Diary: An Official Derry Girls Book is, like the hit Channel 4 series, set in Derry in the 1990s and features all the characters beloved to fans of the show.

Here, Saoirse Monica Jackson, who plays Erin, narrates a hilarious extract in which the 16-year-old writes her acceptance speech for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Erin's Diary will be published in hardback by Trapeze on 12th November 2020, £16.99.
