DANCE teachers from all over the world are contributing virtual lessons and tutorials for kids in a bid to keep children active while not in school during the COVID-19 crisis.
Launched last Sunday, The Dance Together Project was set up by KNC Performing Arts directors Katie and Niamh Conlan and sees over 50 teachers worldwide contribute free virtual dance classes and tutorials.
The site has seen thousands of views since its launch.
Katie and Niamh say that the project is aimed to “connect performers in this time of self-isolation” and is mainly aimed at performing arts students.
New videos are updated daily and the duo added that “students can learn from many different teachers, which is very important in the performing arts world”.
“To all the dancers out there, keep on dancing and training. Thank you to everyone who has taken part in the project so far,” Katie and Niamh added.
