Coffee kiosks proving vital for communities during pandemic

Pop-up coffee shops have not only provided an incentive for people to leave the house, but also an invaluable business opportunity for Davy Lalor, who previously had been promoting nightclub events.

Davy Lalor, owner of popular coffee kiosk Two Mugs in Stillorgan, Co Dublin, admits that he was originally 'more of a tea drinker,' but was forced to learn the coffee brewing once the pandemic came to Ireland.

Davy's business as a nightclub promoter ceased operating in March of 2020, forcing him to think outside the box.

Two Mugs coffee kiosk, like many businesses similar to it, has provided a much-needed incentive for people to leave their homes, while also providing business opportunities to those put out of work.
