Credit: Ukraine Invictus Team. Warning: Contains footage of distressing scenes A celebrated Ukrainian medic has recorded the horrors of her time in Mariupol on a data card no bigger than a thumbnail, smuggled out to the world in a tampon. Now she is in Russian hands, at a time when Mariupol itself is on the verge of falling. Yuliia Paievska, known as Taira, managed to share the harrowing footage with journalists before they left in a rare humanitarian convoy. The next day, on March 16, Taira and her driver were captured by Russian soldiers, in one of many forced disappearances in areas of Ukraine now held by Russia.
