Second phase at The Crescent
THE Plaza is a new £20 million town centre in Swords which will incorporate shops, offices, a hotel and apartments. Five weeks ago the first phase of apartments went on the market, selling from plans, and it sold out briskly. This weekend a further phase of 15 one and two-bed apartments are going on the market, also selling from plans. Joint selling agents are the Shane Redmond Group (tel.8401944) and Sherry FitzGerald (tel.6616198).
Due for completion in May of next year this will be an exclusive development of 49 apartments. The Crescent is being developed by Prom Properties Ltd and built by Pierce Contracting Ltd. The overall scheme is designed by Conroy Crowe Kelly architects who have worked on numerous projects in the area including the highly successful Malahide Marina Village.
The one-bed apartments vary in size from 485 sq. ft. to 585 sq. ft. and are priced from £92,500 while the two-beds are from 650 sq. ft. to 785 sq. ft. and are priced from £111,000.
Standard features include Gold Shield electric low cost heating, landscaped private car park and garden areas, balconies with all first and second floor apartments, security intercom to most apartments, maintenance-free exterior, double glazed windows, luxury kitchen and high quality built-in wardrobes in the bedrooms. There will be smoke detectors installed and the units will be wired for telephone and cable television.
Swords is close to Dublin's International Airport, and is 8 miles north of the city centre. The nearby Broadmeadow Estuary provides a unique setting with its renowned wild bird sanctuary, sailing activities and scenic walks.
