AT Auburn Park in Castleknock -- a new development of apartments and duplexes -- building is complete and homes are ready for occupation.

There are 45 apartments in total, predominantly two-bedroom units with a small number of one- and three- bedroom apartments/duplexes.

The one- and two-bed apartments come with a designated parking space underground, while three-bedroom duplexes come with two spaces.

Prices are from €475,000 for a one-bed apartment, from €565,000 for a two-bed apartment and from €750,000 for a three-bed duplex.

Located in one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in Dublin, Auburn Park residents will benefit from village life at its best -- since it is within a short stroll of Castleknock Village with its boutiques, lively café terraces and local businesses.

The sporting enthusiast will not be disappointed either as numerous high-quality golf clubs and Castleknock Lawn Tennis Club are within easy reach.

Ornate gates, railings, granite piers and walls are at the entrance to the development. Central to Auburn Park, however, is a beautiful water feature. The grounds are extensively landscaped and there is a pretty gazebo.

Entrance foyers feature luxurious oak panelling and marble floor tiles. There are high-speed lifts and each apartment has been designed to maximise natural light, with large expanses of glass in the living area leading to spacious balconies.

Kitchens have high-gloss Wenge wall base units with soft closing hinges, high-grade quartz countertop and under-counter bowl with engraved drainer.

Integrated appliances include oven, gas hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge-freezer.

Bathrooms and en suites have Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware throughout and Hansgrohe thermostatically- controlled showers. Screens for baths and showers are standard and a stone shelf in the main bathroom has an inset mirror and tile surround.

The living room has a contemporary fireplace with log-effect fire. Private balconies extend the living space with full-height glazed sliding doors.

All units are wired for security alarm systems and there are electric entry gates for people and vehicles, plus an access gate to a bus stop at the rear.

The Arrow Rail Line, direct to Connolly Station, services Castleknock. A new Phoenix Park station will be completed in early 2008.
