CBRE have been retained to sell a site in Sandyford with an asking price of some €750,000.

Cull Cuille is a site of some 0.35 hectares (0.87 acres) on Sandyford Road beside Sandyford Village.

The residential-zoned site is said to offer "excellent development potential subject to permission and has the potential to accommodate an infill scheme comprising a series of semi-detached and detached houses".

The property will be offered for sale by public auction on May 28 in CBRE's offices on Burlington Road in Dublin 4. It is said to offer exceptional development potential for a new housing scheme (SPP in a very attractive residential location).

The property is irregular in shape and comprises a derelict residence situated on a mature site.

The area is well serviced by amenities and public transport links with numerous bus routes operating in the area. The LUAS Green line (Glencairn) is within walking distance and can reach St Stephen's Green in just over 20 minutes.

The site is zoned Objective 'A' (Residential), which is "to protect and or improve residential amenity" under the terms of the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Co. Development Plan 2010 – 2016.

Christine McGowan, who is handling the sale for CBRE, said: "There is an opportunity for a developer to acquire a residential development site situated in an established Dublin suburb which is a proven sales location."
