British Princess opened up about wedding plans in special interview with Vogue
In news that should come as no surprise - but may pique some interest - Britain's Princess Eugenie has revealed that her wedding dress is being created by a British-based designer.
The royal, who is due to tie the knot with fiancé Jack Brooksbank in October this year, has revealed that her wedding dress was the one thing she was decisive about when the couple began their wedding plans.
Speaking in a special interview for the September edition of British Vogue the 28-year-old bride-to-be said that as soon as she became engaged, she knew who she'd be calling up for the special job.
"I'm not telling anyone who is making it," Eugenie told fashion features editor Ellie Pithers in an interview which took place on the grounds of their family home Royal Lodge, "but I can say it is a British-based designer. [The dress] is the one thing that I was really decisive about. As soon as we announced the wedding, I knew the designer, the look, straight away.
"I never thought I'd be the one who knew exactly what I like, but I've been pretty on top of it."
Royal watchers have already begun speculating on the designer, and have zoned in on her term 'British-based' already, leading some to believe she might be referencing Canadian-born designer Erdem Moralioglu and her London-based line Erdem, which has been a long time favourite of Princess Eugenie's, and indeed many of the young female members of the royal family.
As with the royal wedding before it, no doubt this is just the first of many names to be speculated about in the run up to the big day... Just 56 days to go!
