Deadmau5, real name Joel Thomas Zimmerman, has officially tied the knot with his long term girlfriend Kelly “Grill” Fedoni, with neither the bride or groom appearing to don a mouse head for the occasion.

The international DJ, who is known for wearing an oversized mouse head during his sets, posted a photo to his social media account announcing "Mr and Mrs grill".

While the Canadian appeared to look somewhat dishevelled - his untucked crisp white shirt showcasing a stain and his collar undone - new wife Kelly Fedoni looked the picture of perfection in a stunning lace mermaid-style gown.

The usually private couple released very few details of their big day on the run up, with the DJ instead taking to Twitter to casually announce they would be tying the knot.

“K brb getting married,” he wrote last week, adding “I’m actually serious, going offline for 2 days. tomorrows our big day, and I have to entertain guests and sh*t, so seeya monday.”

Last year the electro house producer took to Twitter to call out Kanye West when the Gold Digger rapper posted a photo in which he appeared to be browsing the website Pirate Bay.

"What the f**k @kanyewest..." Deadmau5 wrote. "Can't afford serum? D**k. Let's start a Kickstarter to help @kanyewest afford a copy of Serum."

A spat between the two musicians followed with West making fun of the DJ's signature style.

"When you get married will your wife have a giant minnie mouse head?" West wrote.

"Do you do birthday parties??" he continued. "My daughter loves Minnie mouse... can you please bring the minnie mouse head ... not yours she specifically likes minnie mouse ... I need you to perform at her party with specifically a minnie mouse dead-mow-five head... not a mickey mouse dead-mow-five head. I'm very detail oriented and I will know the difference so don't try to just throw a bow on the original head...(sic)"
