Real Irish Weddings: An outdoor affair for Tanya & Darragh's Wicklow ceremony

Tanya and Darragh, both from Dublin, met at a mutual friend's house party.
After their first date in the local pub in Clondalkin, the couple's romance grew. In 2013 Darragh worked up the courage to propose on a beach during a moon-rise, while the pair were on a trip to Fraser Island in Australia.
They set the date of their wedding day for the eleventh anniversary of the evening they first met. Tanya and Darragh opted for a humanist ceremony and chose the stunning Kippure Estate in Wicklow for their dream day.
Tanya says: "We wanted a nice relaxing wedding, away from the typical hotel type wedding. We are very outdoorsy people so we wanted that to show on our day. We chose Kippure Estate as it had a gorgeous outdoor gazebo where we could get married and the view was just breathtaking."

The couple opted for a buffet-style feast for their meal with a roasted pig on a spit and various other trimmings on offer to guests.
The bride found her dream gown in The Bridal Outlet in Baldoyle, Dublin, and her bridesmaids wore beautiful mauve wrap dresses which Tanya found on website etsy.com. With the help of her leading ladies, Tanya made and decorated the sweet cart for the big day, and the groomsmen were presented a cigar box after dinner.
Tanya and Darragh took just over two weeks to relax after their wedding, and what better way to enjoy a honeymoon than travelling to Thailand?
