This definitely isn't your average wedding.

US President Barack Obama acted as groomsman at one of his top aide's wedding at the weekend.

Marvin Nicholson wed Helen Pajcic, who have both worked in the Obama administration since 2008, and as if having the outgoing President wasn't enough to dazzle guests - Secretary of State John Kerry officiated the ceremony, according to the Huffington Post.

The ceremony took place in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday and news outlet WJXT4 shared some exclusive pictures on their Facebook page.

First Lady Michelle Obama did not join her husband for the couple's big day and a moving van was spotted at the White House as the family prepare to move to another residence in Washington D.C. when Obama's term officially ends when President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated on January 20.
