Frances Bean, the only daughter of late singer Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, has just got hitched.
The 23-year-old visual artist married her long term boyfriend, Isaiah Silva, E! News has confirmed.
According to sources, Frances Bean didn't tell her mother Courtney (51) about the wedding plans, opting for a small and intimate ceremony with just 15 guests.
In the wake of being snubbed, Courtney, who is the lead singer of The Hole, responded with an cryptic Instagram post.
"If you think I'm sorry for being a no-show at any important events this week, think again. I was with @jamesnorley ❤ #candyface #worthflakingonanythingfor #heaven #worthit #slay #bae #cancelallmyappointments #donthate #stud #jealousmuch ? Bwahaa xc" she captioned the image of herself posing with male model James Norley.
Frances Bean and her musician beau (30) have been together for five years and Courtney reportedly approves of the union.
"Courtney loves Isaiah, but was devastated to learn that Frances had gotten married without her knowing," a representative told E! News. "Courtney really likes Isaiah and is very happy for Frances. Courtney is sad she wasn't at the wedding."
"Frances needs a man in her life and has always craved stability. She's found it in Isaiah," the insider added.
"This has not caused a rift between mom and daughter. Courtney was sad, but she's cool and Isaiah is a great son-in-law."
Child 44 isn't the only endlessly lavish period piece to hit cinemas this weekend, but Alan Rickman's Versailles-based epic is a rather different beast entirely. The usual period tropes - court dances, eye-popping frocks, curtseys - are present and correct.
