Irish rugby player Sean Cronin wed his long-term girlfriend today in an intimate ceremony in their native Limerick.
The childhood sweethearts, who have been dating for 11 years, exchanged vows at St Joseph’s Church in Castleconnell, Co Limerick.
Best Man Fergus McFadden led the groomsmen, comprising of Sean’s brothers Colm, Neil and Liam, while Claire’s sisters Judith and Niamh and childhood friends Fiona Quirke and Claire O’Sullivan joined her in the bridal party.
Famous faces from the Leinster and Ireland squad, including Rob and Dave Kearney, Devin Toner and fiancee Mary Scott, Jonny Sexton and his wife Laura were all in attendance.
Claire, a communications executive at BMW, was walked up the aisle by her father Ger and as her mother Vera watched alongside Sean’s parents Noelle and John.
Sean proposed during a romantic holiday in New York last summer after 10 years together.
They celebrated their reception at the five-star Dromoland Castle Hotel in Co Clare.
