Is the so-called 'familymoon' the newest trend for modern honeymooners?
Earlier this week Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she had taken her conscious uncoupling to the next level by inviting her ex husband and his new girlfriend on honeymoon with her and new husband Brad Falchuk to the Maldives.
The Goop founder and her doting husband were joined on their tropical island getaway by the bride's ex Chris Martin and his girlfriend Dakota Johnson, as well as their two children Apple and Moses.
'It was a very modern honeymoon' the actress-turned-entrepreneur called her lavish post-nuptial getaway, which took place after the short and sweet break in Italy that immediately followed the happy couple's September wedding.
And it seems the ever-enlightened Iron Man star and her tv producer hubby aren't the only ones carrying on their wedding celebrations by inviting the family on their romantic getaways, as Just Got Paid singer Meghan Trainor has also confessed to taking her family away with her on her post-nuptial vacation to Bora Bora.
The 25-year-old songstress and Spy Kids actor Daryl Sabara, 26, were joined on honeymoon by the bride's brother Ryan and his female friend, who stayed at the nearby Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, according to People.
“Best honeymoon/familymoon ever," the singer captioned a photo of herself wearing a yellow sundress, noting the photo was taken by her 'husband'.
Many newlywed couples with children opt to bring the little ones along with them for a family holiday after the wedding, but inviting siblings - and ex-husbands - is taking things to a whole new level entirely.
There is one perk for photo-loving couples however in that having a family member on-hand means there's a personal photographer available around the clock to capture 'Instagram-worthy' snaps, without the aid of an awkward selfie stick.
Sure if that isn't a reason to bring your siblings on honeymoon with you, what is?
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that her ex-husband Chris Martin joined her and her new husband on an extended "honeymoon" to the Maldives.
A photo of a bridal boutique which used a mannequin bride in a wheelchair in their window display has gone viral, with the shop being commended for its portrayal of different physical abilities.
The Duchess of Sussex's half brother has said he thinks his upcoming wedding will heal the rift between his sister Meghan and her father Thomas Sr.
