High school sweethearts Jeremy and Justice Stamper married in August 2014, but after a near-fatal car crash, Justice was left with severe memory loss and was unable to recall her big day.
Her loving husband was determined to give her a wedding to remember - again.
Justice was involved in a serious car accident just 19 days after the couple wed in August 2014. She was left with Amnesia and while in the intensive recovery unit had to admit to Jeremy that she couldn’t remember the wedding.
"I don't want you to be mad... but I do not remember the wedding,” she told him.
Justice couldn't even understand how her name had become 'Justice Stamper' as she had no recollection of anything that happened five weeks previous to the crash.
“We were at the top of the world, newlyweds and our whole lives head of us. I was absolutely heartbroken. I was sick to my stomach," Jeremy told Today, speaking about the moment his wife admitted to him that she couldn’t remember the ceremony.
"I don't know why I said it, but instantly I said, 'Don't worry about it. We'll do it again.'"
The Tennessee man, who first met his wife when they were in kindergarten, decided to raise money through a GoFundMe page, in order to hold another celebration on the day of their first wedding anniversary.
Thanks to generous donations from the public, Jeremy was able to raise over $10,000 to cover Justine’s dress and throw the sunflower theme reception, making the “Stamper Wedding Round 2” a day to truly remember.
