The loves of my life: Louise O'Reilly, model and blogger

Model and blogger Louise O'Reilly.

The Style Me Curvy blogger on how her boyfriend David is her biggest supportor and why she was a bag of nerves on her first international shoot.

The person

My boyfriend, David - he's been my biggest supporter, both for modelling and blogging, especially when it comes to working abroad

The memory

I was a bag of nerves working on my first international shoot. I was surrounded by a team of 50 people, models from around the world, and Kate Moss's make-up artist was assigned to me for the day. I was afraid to speak!

The moment of the day

Reading emails from the readers of my blog, Style Me Curvy. After a long day, it's always so lovely to open messages from people, whether they're looking for fashion questions to be answered, or style and beauty dilemmas. It's something I love doing, knowing you might make even the tiniest bit of difference to help someone

The song

Ludovico Einaudi's Le Onde - he's an Italian pianist, and his work is truly incredible. A lot of his music is used in well-known movies. I had the honour of meeting him and seeing him perform in Dublin a number of years ago. He played Le Onde at the very end of the show - I was an emotional wreck!

The movie

The Devil Wears Prada. It's just one of those movies you can watch over and over again. It's always my pick-me-up movie

The hero

My nana. She's the strongest women I know, with the biggest heart. If I even become half the woman she is, I'll be very happy!

The book

The Lady in Gold: The Extraordinary Tale of Gustav Klimt's Masterpiece, by Anne-Marie O'Connor. It's one of the best books I've read in some time, particularly as it's a true story. It's based on one of the 21st Century's most famous paintings, which was stolen from a Viennese-Jewish family by the Nazis. A must-read

The outfit

A tan suedette biker jacket is my summer must-have; it gives an instant summer twist to dark colours in your wardrobe. I also love a tailored denim dress that you can dress up or down, and a pair of Carvela heels

The accessory

My Karl Lagerfeld handbag

The gadget

My portable iPhone charger. With my job, you can be on location for over 12 hours sometimes, so it's my lifeline

The pet hate

Men who wear socks with sandals!

The friend

That's a tough one; I am so lucky to have some amazing people in my life. It would have to be my friend Hannah. She lives in London - she's a fellow shopaholic, and just an amazing person

The beauty product

Vichy Idealia moisturiser, and Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution. I literally take them everywhere. They're always great to have on you both before or after a shoot, especially for sensitive skin

The holiday

Thailand. I was six-and-a-half when I first went to Thailand. I was immediately in awe of the culture, the people and their language. I've been back about 15 times or more since

The piece of advice

What's meant for you won't pass you by

The drink

Tea. I'm a big tea and coffee person. Tea for me is very much a 'hug in a mug' - I'm definitely the type of person that thinks a good cup of Irish tea will fix anything

The hotel

The Majestic, Rome. It's my dad's favourite place, and mine also. You feel transported into a piece of living art when you walk into their rooms

The bar

The Sky Garden, London. It has the most beautiful views of London, while you enjoy a drink in the surroundings of a modern structure with a tropical twist. You feel like you're in a different world

The hobby

Cars are my secret passion. I don't know when my obsession began, but I really enjoy researching and reading up on the latest cars, or watching classic-car shows. It's a complete contrast to my day job, you could say!

The part of my body

My legs

The celebrity

Robert Downey Jr

The virtue

Kindness. I'm told that I'm way too soft-hearted also, which can be a bad thing. I inherited both from my mum!

The vice

Dark chocolate

The smell

Lancome La Vie Est Belle perfume. It always puts me in a good mood. I've become really superstitious about it, too. If I have a big, important casting, I have to wear it, or I won't feel myself

The taste

Butlers almond-milk cappuccino
