Legendary supermodel Erin O'Connor enjoyed a home away from home during her trip to Ireland, as her father's family hail from Ballycastle and she also has relatives in Clare.

The ambassador for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children officially launched the annual ISPCC Brown Thomas Fashion Show at the InterContinental Hotel in Ballsbridge.

Wearing a Peter Pilotto dress from Brown Thomas, O'Connor acted as MC for the lunch. The highlight of the season's social calendar, the luncheon is now in its 17th year and has raised over €1m to date for the charity.

More than 360 guests enjoyed a champagne reception on arrival and an exclusive viewing of the Autumn Winter 17 international collections from The Designer Rooms at Brown Thomas. Guests included the store's MD Stephen Sealey and President of ISPCC, Caroline Downey.
