Stylewatch: Decent dressing, post wedding season
It's over. Thank the sartorial gods. This year's wedding season is winding down, and we hopefully may never have to look at another nude-patent shoe - which is apparently the mandatory wedding shoe of our times - again . . . until next year, of course.
As we all know, summer dressing can be iffy, not to mention clammy and crumpled, and a host of other unpleasant sensations. Few of us really do summer well, and fewer still can pull off summer formal - hence the end-of-wedding-season relief.
We are now eagerly awaiting a return to a bit of sartorial sanity. For any occasions lingering in the September calendar, we're looking to Angela Scanlon, pictured, for a bit of inspiration. Here, her elegant separates and chilled-out styling make the oft-tricky transitional thing look like a doddle.
