A couple could be flying high in love if one woman's campaign to track down a fellow passenger on a recent flight works.

A woman has contacted an Irish newspaper to appeal to the public to track down a handsome stranger she spotted on a flight from Nottingham to Knock last Friday.

The woman, who is not identified, launched a campaign with The Connaught Telegraph trying to track down the mystery man, whom she described as "tall, stock with big arms...maybe plays sports".

The East Midlands-Knock flight (FR1742) was on Friday, October 14 and the handsome stranger was sitting in Row 29, Seat C.

Your admirer was sitting two seats away from you and was blocked from starting a conversation by the person sitting in the middle between you, but she did spot you were holding a camel covered weekend bag with matching leather shoes, jeans and had brown wavy hair.

If you are the object of her affection, or know who is, message the paper's Facebook page and they will "be happy to play cupid and pass on your details".
