Three quarters of lovers will only get down to business when the lights are switched off, a survey has revealed.
A recent study of 2,000 people has found that 75 percent of people will only have sex in the dark.
According to The Daily Star, There are a number of reasons for this.
Some 14 percent of people admitted that they were embarrassed to reveal their ‘sex face’ to their partner while 5 percent confessed they liked to imaging they were being passionate with their favourite celebrity instead.
The survey, by truTV, also found that some people simply opted to turn the lights off in order to save electricity.
And who said love was dead?
“Research shows that restricting one of the six senses can actually be a pleasurable experience. The public rather enjoy seeing where their imagination might take them,” truTV channel spokesperson Jane Mote said.
Based on this premise, truTV are launching a new game show titled ‘Total Blackout’.
