Gwen Stefani moves on from Gavin Rossdale with new rocker beau
A representative for Gwen Stefani has confirmed the rocker is dating fellow US The Voice co-star Blake Shelton.
Following multiple reports the recently divorced musicians had struck up a romantic relationship, a spokesperson for the No Doubt frontwoman confirmed the speculation to Us Weekly on Wednesday, saying, "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating."
The news comes days after the two were photographed getting cosy at multiple Halloween parties in Los Angeles over the weekend, and on Tuesday, Gwen played coy when radio DJ Ryan Seacrest asked about the rumours, as she said, "Who’s Blake?... I do think he’s hot, don’t you?"
In addition to their coaching duties on the U.S. talent show, both singers recently went through highly-publicised break-ups, with Shelton dropping the bombshell he and fellow country superstar Miranda Lambert divorced in July after four years of marriage, and a month later, Gwen announced the end of her 13-year marriage to Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale, with whom she has three sons.
An insider tells Us Weekly Blake is planning on bringing Gwen as his date to after-parties following the 2015 Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night, when both he and ex-wife Miranda are up for multiple prizes.
Blake previously admitted the ceremony is sure to be uncomfortable, and his pals and awards co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have to take aim at their summer divorce.
"This year's gonna be awkward at the CMAs... because we are such a family, everybody there is friends," he told U.S. late night host Seth Meyers.
"There's gotta be a (joke) about me and Miranda. Brad Paisley is not doing his job if he doesn't look down there and go, 'Haha!' He's gotta do it! You have to address the elephant in the room."
