Victoria Beckham has been nominated for two British Fashion Awards.

Those in the running for the prestigious prizes were confirmed this morning, with Victoria mentioned in the Brand of the Year and Red Carpet categories.

Also up for the best brand gong is Alexander McQueen and Burberry, while Victoria is vying against Antonio Berardi and Erdem for the other prize.

Either Christopher Kane, Phoebe Philo for Céline or Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton will be named Womenswear Designer of the Year. Taking home the men's version of the award will be either Christopher Bailey for Burberry, Kim Jones of Louis Vuitton or Tom Ford.

Other notable categories include International Designer of the Year, where the nominees are Marc Jacobs, Miuccia Prada of Prada and Christian Dior's Raf Simons.

Last year's Model of the Year winner Cara Delevingne is up for the prize again in 2013, with Edie Campbell and Sam Rollinson also mentioned.

The nominees were decided upon by a panel of 200 industry professionals and the awards will take place on December 2 at the London Coliseum.

Several awards will be announced on the night including the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator and Best Creative Campaign Award. The British Style Award is voted for by the public and will also be confirmed then, with Alexa Chung triumphing in recent years.

It is thought Kate Moss will be honoured for her outstanding achievement in fashion.
