UGG Australia have unveiled I Do!, their latest venture dedicated to a collection of bejazzled slippers for brides.

Answering the prayers of a small proportion of brides across the world (when we say small, perhaps miniscule is more apt) by releasing a range of bridal boots. Yes, that's right; the world's sweatiest, laziest, ugliest shoe is now available in wedding-appropriate colourways.

Ranging from $70 to $225 (and sadly only currently on sale in the US), the capsule collection - called, wait for it…I Do! - includes three styles; Sparkles I Do!, a classic UGG covered in white iridescent sequins; Bailey I Do!, a pearly suede pair complete with gobstopper-sized diamanté button; and Fluff Flip Flop I Do!, a sheepskin slipper that bears a striking resemblance to a bow-topped poodle.

The range has evoked some impressively vitriolic reactions since its launch - Jezebel.com has labelled them "the single biggest threat to traditional marriage that currently exists" and that's after taking into account Kim Kardashian's 72-day debacle.

We're not saying we like them (we really don't), but to be fair, UGG don't actually suggest that brides plod/shuffle/waddle down the aisle in them, instead they claim the range "provides luxury bridal comfort as brides and their bridal parties pamper themselves before and after the wedding." Plus, despite their lack of any positive attributes, UGGs have undeniably become a kind-of symbol of the Noughties - mainly due to Kate Moss's early and continued adoption of them. A bit of Googling has also revealed that Tom Brady AKA Mr Gisele Bündchen is the face of UGGs men's range. Who knew?

Unfortunately, that's not quite enough to make us fork out $225 on what is essentialy a bejazzled slipper. And it's really saying something when even Mossy can't sway us.
