A pair of black, blue and yellow, faux-leather trainers by Irregular Choice for €140 bought online.

The best is Róisín Murphy and the worst is Britney.

  • What or who influences your style?

Music -- especially the New Romantics -- artists such Hard Ton and Gossip and eclecticism; I believe mismatching is good.

This multicoloured, striped sports jacket for €30 in Newmarket Square Flea Market.



  • What was your worst fashion mistake?

Wearing skinny jeans before their time.

I love how it touches everything around us. Movies, music and so on are all directly linked to fashion. And I hate fashion snobbery and when people are slaves to labels.

Leg warmers worn over jeans with Converse trainers when I had buttercup-yellow hair.

I love the recent preppy trend because you don't need a lot of money to pull it off and I hate multicoloured sports jackets.

I love the freedom of expression that fashion offers and how you can take pride in your individuality through it. And I hate people who typecast themselves into a particular look; it's oppressive.
