Supermodels bare all for Love magazine
The 2nd issue of LOVE magazine is out this week and is set to be even more controversial than the last one. Eight super models including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Lara Stone have all been shot for their own cover-absolutely naked.
The magazine includes a 40-page shoot of all eight girls and even includes their personal measurements.
LOVE's editor Katie Grand said: 'For this issue of LOVE, we took eight women who are generally acknowledged as the most beautiful in the world, got them to show off their bodies, widely regarded as the most perfect in the world, and photographed them all in exactly the same position for the cover.
‘We did this to show how much they differed physically from one another, which is why we also printed their measurements.’
Six months ago LOVE magazine caused a stir when 15 stone Beth Ditto posed naked on the cover exposing herself in all her padded glory. Apparently she was even photo shopped to look bigger than she is in reality.
At the time, super-stylist Katie Grand said she was trying to move away from the unrealistic, polished images we see in all the glossies and create a magazine that was more real, more raw and more gritty.
The bi-annual magazine has a cult status thing going on, helped along by backing from Conde Naste but more so from the endless connections and colour that Grand offers. She’s styled every catwalk show worth talking about and was editor for hugely successful POP magazine so has a pretty impressive pool of talent to pull from.
Out on Monday 8th Feb (Just in time for London Fashion Week)
