This is what Jennifer Lopez looks like on the first Monday after the holiday season
Start as you intend to continue.
While the rest of us are struggling to walk after braving our first spin class of the year in a bid to shed that extra holiday weight, Jennifer Lopez has been busy slaying in a gold, glittering jumpsuit on Monday night.
The 46-year-old (and our resident girl crush) is back to work promoting her return to TV in upcoming NBC police drama Shades of Blue, after ringing in the New Year with her mother Guadalupe and boyfriend Casper Smart.
And J-Lo, who was making her way to an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, has been fittingly dishing on her private life in order to push her new show. Often hailed as one of the most beautiful women in the world, the mother-of-two said she doesn't want women written off at a "certain moment in our lives."
She also revealed her journey to self love, saying she's no longer waiting for her Prince Charming.
"As girls, I think we are taught from a very young age that someone else is going to bring us our happiness," she told InStyle Magazine.
"I was waiting for Prince Charming. Everybody I met was going to be the guy I was going to spend my life with. And then you realize, 'I'm strong' I'm my own keeper, my own saviour.
"That's been the journey for me."
