Another week, another new royal style crush.

The Netherlands' Queen Máxima has been on our radar for some time now, but the mother-of-three outdid herself with an effortlessly elegant end-of-summer ensemble. The 46-year-old royal opted for a silk yellow pencil skirt with with a silk champagne top and floral embroidery detail, and matching nude tie up heels.

She was guest of honour at the 650th anniversary of the Bartholomeus Gasthuis earlier this week in Utrecht; the site Bartholomeus gasthouse was founded in 1367 by an unknown citizen offered as shelter for pilgrims and homeless and still operates today for the elderly.

It was a poignant outing for Maxima as it marks her second public appearance since the death of her father Jorge Horacio Zorreguieta in August. Her late father had been battling Hodgkin's Lympoma and she was joined by other members of the Dutch royal family at his funeral in her native Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Last weekend, she made a colourful appearance at in a bold fuschia and yellow printed skirt dress and was all smiles as she met with locals at a centre for vulnerable people in Delft.
