Six of the best fashion video-ad campaigns for Spring Summer 2014

SS14 is finally here... and that means more must-watch fashion videos to show off this season's designs.

Here are our top six fashion videos for SS14:

1. Mulberry

Mulberry Spring Summer 2014’s video and print campaign celebrated the quintessential English rose, in all her resplendent beauty. Cara Delevingne features as the star of the campaign, joined at a tea party by a myriad of animals including a pelican, cockatoos, a tortoise and a Great Dane.

2. Prada

A crowd of beautiful fans including Malaika Firth, Maja Salmon and Gracie Van Gastel gather to spectate in Prada’s Spring Summer 2014 campaign.

Against a pared back black background, the vibrant colours of this season’s designs are allowed to take centre stage.

3. Kenzo

Known for their graphic videos and collaborations with illustrators, this season Kenzo joined forced with TOILETPAPER magazine. Models Devon Aoki and Paul Boche star alongside a giant pike and some crustaceans in the campaign which aims to highlight the dangers of overfishing.  

4. Lanvin

Celebrating their 125th year, the iconic fashion house’s most recent campaign stars models including Julia Nobis, Laurie Harding and Sasha Luss.

With sleek hair and makeup by Guido Palau and Pat McGrath complimenting the metallic jewel-toned garments, the video features around an exaggerated conversation which appeals to all the senses.

5. Dolce & Gabbana

A slice of Sicilian life is captured in this video which documents behind the scenes of the Dolce & Gabbana print campaign for Spring Summer 2014.

Starring Eva Herzigova, Bianca Balti, Catherine McNeil and Noah Mills, the Italian design duo again celebrate their cultural heritage, with the aid of a sultry jazz tune, voluptuous belladonna, and some bread sticks.

6. Maje

Proving the old adage ‘less is more’, the Spring Summer 2014 campaign video champions the feminine and understated aesthetic of the chic French label Maje.

Catherine McNeil dons shirt dresses, fringed jackets and denim shorts in beautifully lit surroundings to the dreamy folktronica sounds of Californian artist Blackbird Blackbird.
