Kim Kardashian has always been her own best advertisement.
After the nearly absurd success of her KKW beauty line, she is reportedly venturing into the world of shapewear, and with a well documented affection for Spanx, it makes sense that she'd want to get in on the game herself.
So much is her appreciation for them that she will wear two (!) pairs at a time for maximum effect. She's also a champion of the underwear-as-outerwear trend, a theme which permeates through her husband Kanye West's Yeezy fashion line.
Less than 24 hours after dazzling at Monday night's Met Gala, she was joined her famous family at a special dinner with Business of Fashion's new print edition, wearing a skintight yellow Versace dress and perhaps strategically, showing off a hint of her shapewear underneath.
According to TMZ, for "the last several months Kim's been developing a new brand that will serve all women", the latest jewel in the Kardashian/Jenner clan's entrepreneurial crown.
Oh, and you know who else was at last night's BOF dinner? Irish activist Sinead Burke. Sinead and Kim are both stars of the issue's double cover, in which she discusses her campaign for inclusion in the fashion industry.
"Influence can be measured in social media followers and voluminous sale of products, but also in less tangible ways too. Influence can also be defined as shaping social consciousness and deconstructing the status quo," she captioned a photo of them together on Instagram.
"I’m so very proud to be on the cover of the print issue of @bof and spending last night speaking with and in the company of my other cover star, @kimkardashian, was a moment that I won’t forget anytime soon."
