What better way to celebrate the Oscars than merging them with Disney? In an exclusive collaboration, Irish illustrator Holly Shortall created a series of illustrations for us as we envision seven of our favourite Disney Princesses in some of the most iconic Oscar dresses, ever. It's like they were really there.

Princess Tiana as Lupita Nyong'o (2014)

Lupita was the darling of last year's awards season and won Best Supporting Actress for 12 Years A Slave, but it was her powder blue Prada gown that stole the show. We think Princess Tiana does a pretty good job in her version.

Ariel as Julia Roberts (2001)

Ariel may have stolen Prince Eric's heart in The Little Mermaid, but Julia Roberts won at life when she wore this incredible vintage Valentino gown as she accepted the Best Actress Oscar for Erin Brockovich.

Queen Elsa as Jennifer Lawrence (2013)

Is it just us or is there already an uncanny resemblance between these two? Frozen's Elsa might very well be the literal Disney version of Jennifer Lawrence, who looked magical in this Dior gown at the 2013 Oscars, where she won Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook.

Snow White as Bjork (2001)

You couldn't ever chat Oscars fashion without chatting Bjork. Her swan dress, worn in 2001, landed her a place on every Worst Dressed list, but secured her a place in red carpet history. Snow White does it better though.

Aurora as Audrey Hepburn (1954)

Two classics! Audrey Hepburn is the  be the world's most cherished style icon, but in 1954, while accepting her Best Actress Oscar for Roman Holiday and we couldn't help but fall in love with her dreamy Dior dress. Sleeping Beauty's Aurora is her ultimate blonde.

Princess Belle as Cher (1988)

We apologise in advance for shattering your childhood dreams about Beauty and the Beast's Belle - Beast, eat your heart out. Cher, the one and only, won Best Actress for Moonstruck in 1989 and we're still talking about it after all these years.

Pocahontas as Halle Berry (2002)

Is it just us or is Pocahontas kind of a babe? The iconic Disney star looks incredible in Halle Berry's breathtaking 2002 Elie Saab gown, to the point where we actually kind of prefer her in it.
