Ruth Negga is the definition of autumn style goals at Louis Vuitton in Paris
Ruth Negga has been keeping a low profile lately and made sure it was worth the wait when she popped up during Paris Fashion Week.
The Irish actress (35) was among a host of stars who attended the opening of the Louis Vuitton Boutique in the city, flanked by brand ambassadors for the French fashion house and more Oscar winners than you can shake a stick at. Negga, from Limerick, was wrapped up in a multi-texture coat with suede, leather and a leopard print collar over a plain white t-shirt and cerulean satin skinnies. So far, so good.
But it's the white accessories that bring this look and add a touch of '90s nostalgia that has become synonymous with modern supermodel street style.
Vuitton prefers to work with classic names rather than 'it' girls and after providing the former Love/Hate star with her glittering silver gown at the Golden Globes in January, a friendship has been forged. Much like Michelle Williams, who injected a serious throwback by accessorising her blush pink leather shift dress with a vintage LV mini bucket bag. Not to mention those white leather go-go boots.
Swedish actress Alicia Vikander showed off her new Tomb Raider toning with her leopard print mini-skirt with a cut-out top and a clasp crossbody bag.
Monday evening's event is just the precursor to the brand's Spring/Summer '18 fashion show tonight, in one of the final events of fashion month.
