Roz Purcell puts Irish style in the spotlight at Milan Fashion Week
It seems even the streets are a catwalk for Irish model Roz Purcell as she struts her stuff in Milan.
The Tipperary beauty (24) jetted to the Italian city this week to get her fix at the city's annual fashion week - one of the biggest events in the world on the style calendar.
While the striking brunette has been watching the fashion shows instead of walking in them at the week-long fashion extravaganza, Roz has certainly been showing off her style credentials, opting to wear some of her own designs from the Scribe by Roz suit collection.
While Roz has a successful modelling career in Ireland, the former Miss Universe contestant has also done stints working in countries as far flung as the States and South Africa.
And the food blogger has hinted she's eager to travel more, saying she's comfortable enough in her relationship with Voice of Ireland coach Bressie to jet off on her own.
"If [Bressie] turned around and said 'Oh I'm going back on the road to do a world tour,' I'd say 'Great - I'll meet you in this city and that city.' And it will be the same for me," she said.
"We're at that stage where travelling doesn't mean see ya - it all comes down to trust."
After competing in Miss Universe back in 2010, Roz signed to billionaire presidential candidate Donald Trump's model agency in New York where she stayed for just a few months. She also turned down an offer to move to Asia as she felt her look wasn't right for the market.
"I was never going to stay in the States, and at the end of my time there they asked if I wanted to go to Asia, but to be honest I'm quite athletic so I would have struggled enough to be editorial weight. So in my mind I knew it wasn't going to be my market," she told Irish Country Magazine.
Now Roz is signed to Andrea Roche's modelling agency, and she isn't the only model on the former Miss Ireland's books making waves in Milan this week.
English-born beauty Emily Butcher (18), who first signed with Andrea last year, walked for fashion house Gucci in their spring/summer 2016 show this week.
