Tv host Kathryn Thomas pulled out all the stops for the finale episode of Operation Transformation.
The Carlow native had been impressing audiences with her outfit choices during the series' two month run.
For the highly anticipated finale of the RTE show, the 36-year-old presenter wore a figure hugging navy gown with intricate metallic beading and cut out detailing.
Her dress, by New York brand Jovani, was sourced from rental boutique Cari’s Closet, based in Malahide, North Dublin.
“The dress is €190 to hire and it can also be purchased,” a representative from Cari’s Closet said. “We’ve had lots of enquiries since she wore it on the show!”
The elegant frock was Kathryn’s most show-stopping look to date. In earlier episodes of the series, she opted mostly for prom skirts, tailored shift dresses and luxe knitwear.
While Kathryn works with celebrity stylist Ingrid Hoey for The Voice of Ireland, the looks she picks out for Operation Transformation are entirely based on her own preference.
Hoey, who also works with Amy Huberman, recently spoke about Kathryn's style renaissance over the length of her career on our screens.
"Kathryn has huge selling power...and she doesn’t even realise it, which is really refreshing. She doesn’t wear something with a purpose. She’ll wear it if she loves it, no matter where it’s from, no matter the cost," Ingrid revealed.
"She wore an old top from Marks & Spencer during the blind auditions [on The Voice] last year and peoples were tweeting me and M&S asking to do a rerun on the top," Ingrid added.
Numerous items that Kathryn wore on television, including a €60 dress from popular Dublin boutique Om Diva were instant sell outs.
