She has made her mark as a style icon, but Blake Lively put a rare foot wrong in a garish yellow dress at a promotional event in China.
The new-mum stepped out for a press conference in Beijing last night, alongside actor Adrien Brody.
The 27-year-old is held in high regard as a style icon, rarely putting a foot wrong.
In fact, even her maternity wardrobe wowed critics.
But at a recent press conference in China, Blake divided opinion in an embroidered yellow prom-style dress.
The gown featured a puff-ball hem and sweetheart neckline, and oriental inspired detailing that certainly worked with the occasion.
The former Gossip Girl star finished off the look with metallic barely there sandals and a fishtail braid.
Blake recently made headlines when she made fifteen costume changes in a single day, as she embarked on the promotional tour for her new movie 'The Age of Adaline'.
Blake, who gave birth to her first daughter James in December, said she felt obliged to pull out all the stops for her first set of public appearances.
"That’s one of the first times I left my house in four months. Otherwise I’m just a boob truck. Open for service. It’s hard to keep up with this level of attention. I’m going to leave the house and wear 37 outfits! I’m like trying to do as many outfit changes as possible," she said.
In the complete three day promotional tour, Blake's wardrobe bill was estimated to come in at a whopping €4.5 million.
