Nadine Coyle steps back into the limelight with some (very) questionable fashion choices
Nadine Coyle is back and wants the world to know it.
The former Girls Aloud singer (32) has taken a break from the spotlight in recent years and in 2016, she revealed she was quitting altogether to focus on her studies to become a psychiatrist. However, proving she's a new kind of double threat, Nadine is promoting her solo music career again. The Derry native, who has a daughter Anaiya (three) with fiancé Jason Bell, has been busy hitting the promotional trail in the UK over the last week, with appearances on ITV's Lorraine and at the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer Of The Year competition, capped off with a red carpet turn at the Attitude Awards in London on Thursday night.
Coyle led the charge of a motley crew of familiar faces comprised of Prince Harry, Pixie Lott and er, Honey G, in a black strapless mini-dress with sweetheart neckline and sleeve detail with a pair of questionable white pumps. But it paled in comparison to her green ruched dress and obligatory hipster eyeglasses earlier in the week.
And while the pop world may have evolved past matching shimmering bodycon dresses and identical posing, Nadine has not, if her turn on Lorraine is anything to go by. Dressed in a lime-green skirt suit and knee high black leather boots, flanked by six dancers wearing equally hideous oversized camel pantsuits, she paid unwitting homage to her early days in Girls Aloud while performing her new single Go To Work. On the up side, her beachy waves were perfection.
The true pièce de résistance of Nadine's whirlwind tour de ensembles was the red off-the-shoulder pantsuit to hit the stage at London's iconic G-A-Y nightclub, once again surrounded by her dance troupe. She is, unsurprisingly open to a Girls Aloud reunion (as is Sarah Harding) and frankly, we are here for it.
