We're used to seeing The Saturdays' Mollie King as the epitome of a glossy pop princess, so her latest look is quite a departure.
The 27 year-old has pared back her look for Caroline Issa, editor and all round style queen (she's also Telegraph Luxury's women's style editor), and her fashion venture Because London.
"Mollie first caught my eye when we were introduced at a fashion event earlier this year. She has a versatility to her that I didn't feel had been explored, so I was excited to work with her on BecauseLondon.com to show her adaptability and to create a new look," said Issa. "We're delighted with the results. Her energy, curiosity and openness are all the key ingredients a style icon in the making needs, and we predict big things for Ms. King in 2015."
King, who was signed to Next Models in 2013, has had her fair share of experience in front of the camera. In 2012 she became the face of Aspinal of London, even getting a bag named in her honour, and she's also modelled for high street chain Oasis - but this is the first time she's worked a grungier look.
"To be asked by Caroline and the team to collaborate and shoot for BecauseLondon.com was amazing," said King. "The website fuels my love of all things fashion and beauty. Caroline Issa is an inspirational icon in the industry and the images are a real departure from what people have seen me do before. I loved every minute of it."
Perhaps she's been taking tips from her boyfriend, male model David Gandy. The couple recently rekindled their romance, having previously split in 2012 after 10 months together.
