Meet the man behind Celine Dion's high fashion makeover
For weeks now, Celine Dion has been treated the streets of Manhattan like her own personal runway.
For the last month, the legendary singer (48) is busy filming new videos, making tv appearances and slaying in general.
It all started during Paris Haute Couture Week when she sashayed past a host of supermodels in a chic all black ensemble, letting the fashion world know she had arrived. During her time in France, her new stylist Law Roach, who styles Zendaya and features on the upcoming season of America's Next Top Model, worked his magic to update her look - and land her on every best dressed list in the land.
"I have to say, it’s pretty exciting,” she told ET Online. “Working with Law Roach is quite an experience to be honest with you.”
"[Roach] brought me out of my closet and now flowers are growing. Do we know any girls in the world who don't really like to be jeweled or dressed up? "I never met one. [Law's] worse than me, which is a good thing, [he] brings me the best of what the fashion industry can bring us."
Dion, whose husband of 20 years René Angélil died after a long battle with cancer six months ago, took time off to mourn and is now thrown herself back into the limelight, even including her sons Rene Charles (15) and twins Nelson and Eddy (five), whose passion for fashion is growing.
"Even my kids, [they're like] ‘We want a bow like this, we want a dress like this’ — my kids, even if they’re boys, they’re into fashion, they’re into characters, everything they say they like, whether it’s for a girl or a boy, they want it."
The Oscar-winning songstress also opened up about how she is coping with the loss of her husband.
"It's been a journey. It's been hard seeing the love of your life suffering for the last three years. It's been really hard, but millions of people are going through this," she said on Today.
"And I feel very strong because not only that he loved me so much for many, many lives to come – he gave me three magnificent kids, so much knowledge, stability and confidence."
