Kim Kardashian snubbed on Vogue cover after breaking Met Gala's 'no selfie' rule
Kim Kardashian learned the hard way not to mess with Anna Wintour.
After blatantly breaking the Vogue Editor-in-Chief's no selfie rule at last year's Met Gala, she was snubbed from the special edition Vogue cover.
A picture of a Guo Pei-clad Rihanna, wearing the dress that launched 1,000 memes, is the main cover shot while also featuring a list of A-list names to entice readers, including Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and her little sister Kendall Jenner.
It looks like it's back to square one for Kim, who made her Vogue debut last year, but was famously cut out from a photo of her and Kanye West at the Met Gala in 2013.
Sources close to the reality star say she's devastated by the cover snub, considering herself one of the most famous attendees at the exclusive night at Metropolitan's Museum of Art.
“Kim lives for Vogue and has been obsessed with it forever,” an insider told Radar Online.
“The fact that they didn’t even mention her on the cover is hilarious, considering she tried so hard to be exactly what she thought Anna Wintour would want for the Met Gala.”
“Kim’s sister Kendall getting a mention on the cover over her is a huge slap in the face. She’s livid.”
