US first lady Melania Trump might only be halfway through an 11-day trip to Asia with her husband, president Donald Trump, but her tour de designer ensembles is already rather impressive.

With a well documented taste for the finer things in fashion, she is adopting a slightly more subdued style while overseas, which means she isn't wearing any €50k coats, but the numbers still add up. Arriving in Tokyo, Japan, Melania was her version of dressed down in a leaf print sundress by Borgo De Nor (€900) and nude ballet flats by Christian Louboutin (€450).
