Fashion risks are something of a rarity these days.

Celebrities have a particular aesthetic they stick to: for Bella and Gigi Hadid, it's '90s revival and for Sofia Vergara, it's an endless array of corseted shimmering gowns on the red carpet. Elizabeth Olsen, however, is a breath of fresh air, never afraid of taking a style risk, especially as she prepares to kick off the international promotional tour of Avengers: Infinity War and the intensive scrutiny which will inevitably follow.

For Sunday night's fan event in London, the 29-year-old actress began her promo circuit wardrobe with a green leather Alexandre Vauthier mini-dress, plunged to the navel with shoulder detail. Perhaps more importantly, she kicked off her black pumps during a Q&A at the London Television Centre and proudly sat barefoot in conversation with her castmates.

A girl after our own hearts.

Olsen plays Scarlet Witch in the superhero franchise and appeared alongside co-stars Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch for last night's screening - no sign yet though of Irish actor Tom Vaughan Lawlor, who landed his breakthrough role of his career as the villain in the much anticipated blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War.
